Laxmi Puja

After the fierce battle, when lord Rama conquered Ravana in Lanka, Laxmi puja was performed as a symbol of lord Rama’s victory over Ravana. Karthik Krishna Amavasya is considered to be the most auspicious day to perform Laxmi puja.
